YSR as Lord Ganesha and KCR as Kumaraswamy

he results of by-elections are out. Before going into details, just recall the story of Lord Ganesha defeating Kumaraswamy. Ganesha's vehicle is 'mouse' while Kumara Swamy's is 'peacock'. Although Peacock flies faster than mouse, it was Ganesha who won the race just by putting faith on his parents Lord Shiva and Parvathi. Putting faith on parents is more virtuous than plunging in holy rivers. Hence Kumaraswamy, whenever reached a holy river to take bath, Ganesha used to appear in front of him, completing bath. All that Ganesha did is completing pradakshinas around his parents. Finally Ganesha won the race and eventually the leadership. We all know this Vinayaka Chaturdhi story.

Now Congress' marathon on the legs of YSR is successfully completed. TRS' pink car is punctured badly. It lost many seats to Congress. TDP on the other hand sweated out to complete the marathon on cycle but couldn't do well. Congress in AP is running only on YSR's legs. All that YSR did is putting faith on people and development. With faith on people, votes cannot be garlanded for leaders.

KCR thought that he can win elections in short-cut by living in thandas. He could win only with marginal majority but lost other seats miserably. People got vexed up by KCR's abuses and rated him as a jester on political dais. The result of that is seen in the form of marginal majority. Chandrababu used 'anti-Congress' mantra abusing it all the while, than saying what he will be going to do if wins the elections. People got vexed up and voted either for TRS or for Congress.

Congress leaders also should know that it is YSR who has been struggling for elections but none other. YSR, with his trade mark patience is winning everything he wants. If his fellow party-men also support him, then things would have been different.

TDP should learn that it should change its way of campaigning. More focus should be laid on what better he can offer than present Congress rule. People are no way open to listen to sentences like 'Congress arachaka palana', 'rakshasatwam…dochesaaru…champesaaru..' et al. Similarly TRS also should control abuses uttering from mouth. Even the people those vote in elections are not happy when they listen to abusive words. People wish to vote for a leader who speaks good, works well and who keeps himself in their touch. KCR should learn this probably.

Final results

Assembly
TRS - 7
Congress - 6
TDP - 5

Loksabha
TRS - 2
Congress -1
TDP - 1
